Grade 8 Tahfeeth Celebration

AIS proudly celebrated the remarkable achievement of our Grade 8 Tahfeeth students as they completed their Qur’an memorization. A total of 68 students were honored in a beautiful ceremony at the Holiday Inn.

Another celebration was held at Masjid Al Rajhi, where 56 girls from our Tahfeeth program were also celebrated for completing their memorization of the Holy Qur’an. We are incredibly proud of all our students for their dedication, discipline, and unwavering commitment.

Future Innovators Recognized Globally

Our Grades 10–12 students advanced to the semi-finals of the Conrad Challenge, selected from over 2,800 global teams. Their AI-powered solution to space debris earned them the “Innovators of 2025” title, opening doors to future scholarships and recognition. Special congratulations to Ms. Nilofer Masoom, who served as a stage judge, reflecting Al-Rowad’s leadership in innovation.

Al-Rowad Shines at Speak & Inspire

Al Yamamah University organized the Speak And Inspire 2025 competition on April 14–15, 2025, with the participation of a wide range of secondary school students.

The university hosted 17 of the leading international and private schools from Riyadh, where the debates focused on the role of artificial intelligence in education, the economy, and the labor market.

Our girls section secured 1st In the first topic of Cybersecurity at the Competition outshining other competing schools. Our boys section secured 2nd in the topic of Traffic Congestion. Their eloquence and confidence were a true testament to Al-Rowad’s commitment to developing strong communicators.

Teachers Innovative NuVu Training

NuVuX is an innovative K–12 education program developed by NuVu Studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts, that brings project-based, studio-style learning to schools worldwide. It emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving, with active partnerships in regions like Saudi Arabia.

Our educators took part in the NuVu Infusion Workshop, exploring  hands-on learning techniques. The workshop equipped them with tools to inspire creativity and collaboration in the classroom.

Qur’an Celebration Grades 1 to 3

We proudly celebrated the achievements of our Grades 1, 2, and 3 Qur’an students. These young learners were honored for their dedication and success in memorizing an additional 2 Juz in each grade of the Holy Qur’an. We are proud of their hard work and pray this marks the beginning of a lifelong connection with the Qur’an.

Young Voices Take the Stage

On April 15, Al-Rowad hosted a thrilling Grade 3 Public Speaking Competition, uniting students from four neighboring schools. The auditorium was buzzing with excitement as students showcased confidence beyond their years. A heartfelt thank-you to all participants and guests for making it a memorable celebration of expression.

Math Escape Room: Grade 5 Boys Crack the Code

Our Grade 5 boys put their problem-solving skills to the test in an exciting Math Escape Room Challenge. Students worked in teams to solve puzzles using logic and math, turning learning into a hands-on adventure. Congratulations to our Top 3 winners, especially the 1st Place Champion Hassan Zyad!

Quran & Hadith Awards: Grades 4–6 Shine with Knowledge

49 students from Grades 4 to 6 participated in a heartfelt Quran and Hadith Competition, showcasing their remarkable memorization and understanding. Five students successfully memorized 10 Juz of the Quran, while three students memorized all 40 Hadiths from the renowned collection.

The event celebrated their dedication with special awards and certificates, honoring their exceptional efforts and spiritual commitment.

Al-Rowad Athletes Impress at PSU

From volleyball and ping pong in February to basketball in April, our students competed fiercely at Prince Sultan University. The girls basketball team clinched third place, and both our volleyball and ping pong teams demonstrated skill, sportsmanship, and resilience. Congratulations to our talented students for their achievements!
