Overview
Our Primary curriculum at AIS provides a comprehensive educational framework that meets national standards while aligning with the Common Core standards (CCSS) and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). This ensures that students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for future success. In addition to these standards, we place a strong emphasis on Islamic Studies, the Quran, and Arabic, recognizing their importance in our Islamic identity within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the greater global community. As such, AIS Primary offers a rich educational portfolio:
- Dedicated Tahfeeth classes which focus on the memorization of the Holy Quran.
- Dedicated Qaidah Noraniah classes which teach students the use of Arabic phonetics.
- Intensive Arabic and Islamic Studies in English classes to meet the learning needs of non-native Arabic students.
These subjects follow the guidelines set by the Ministry of Education, reflecting the AIS commitment to providing a well-rounded education that nurtures students’ spiritual, academic, and cultural development.

The Class Schedule
Our student’s daily schedule at AIS is thoughtfully structured to provide a well-rounded and enriching learning experience. Each morning begins with warm greetings from their homeroom teachers and floor supervisors, as students gather in their classrooms to recite the holy Quran and morning supplications. Important notices for the day are shared during this time.

The 1st break allows students to enjoy a meal and engage in social activities, and the 2nd break is designated for students to perform Dhuhr prayer together.
