Higher Grades Shine: Victory in NEOM Dev Challenge!

Our talented Girls’ team has achieved an incredible victory, taking 1st place in the NEOM Dev Challenge against 43 teams across Riyadh. Guided by Ms. Maysoon Alaaraj and Supervisor Mrs. Ruba Qaddoura, students Rama Alkurdi, Raghad Alsanad, and Fatema Shazfa Sakeem, with support from Nala Alhourani, created the innovative mobile game “Najm Alfalak”.
Their reward? 40000 SR to create a fully-equipped gaming lab for our school, unlocking new opportunities for cutting-edge learning and innovation. Congratulations to the team for their hard work, creativity, and teamwork in securing this remarkable achievement.
Boys’ Section Triumphs in Dodgeball Tournament

Our boys’ section excelled at the Saudi Dodgeball Riyadh School Tournament, winning gold medals and a 15,000 SAR cash prize. His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, honored Yassin Sameh and Marwan Mohamed Gamal for their national-level victory. Al Rowad International School students brought their Minecraft fried chicken restaurant to life with a real-life stall! 🚀
KRJ Fried Chicken started merely as a fleeting thought by Khalid Aljalajil and his colleagues – but capturing those ideas led to a masterful enactment of an exciting brand. With a custom logo, a mouthwatering menu, and a side of entrepreneurial genius, they served up more than great ideas.

ImpaQ 2024: Inspiring the Next Generation of Change-Makers

AIS students attended ImpaQ 2024, an event showcasing top global influencers – including Saudi astronauts Ali Al-Qarni and Rayyanah Barnawi, and content creator Omar Farooq. Organized by a dedicated group of students within three days, the trip highlighted leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
Students engaged with inspiring speakers, explored unique career pathways, and gained insights into creating meaningful impact. One student discovered a passion for biotech, while another expanded their LinkedIn network to over 250 professionals, including 18 industry CEOs.
Exploring Almarai: A Lesson in Business Excellence

AIS students visited Almarai Dairy’s factory in Alkharj. The trip offered a firsthand look at the scale of Almarai’s operations, its rich business history, and innovative practices that make it a leader in the dairy industry.
Students gained valuable insights into large-scale business management, operations, and the strategies driving Almarai’s success – bridging classroom learning with real-world applications.
