Updates on the General Aptitude Test (Qudrat) and Standard Achievement Admission Test (Tahsili)
Dear Grade 10, 11, and 12 Parents,
Subject: General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Scholastic Preparation Plan
We hope this letter finds you and your child in good health and high spirits. As we prepare for the 2024-2025 academic, we would like to bring to your attention some important updates about the General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Standard Achievement Admission Test (SAAT). We aim to provide you with an overview of the GAT and SAAT and outline our comprehensive preparation plan for students in grades 10, 11, and 12.
Qudat – General Aptitude Test (GAT)
The GAT targets secondary school students who wish to pursue their studies in higher education institutions. It measures several aspects related to the educational process, such as a student’s analytical and deductive skills. The test comprises two sections: verbal (language-related) and quantitative (mathematic).
The GAT English Version, like the GAT Arabic Version, tests students’ language and mathematics knowledge and skills to measure the following abilities:
- Reading comprehension
- Logical relations
- Problem-solving behavior
- Inferential abilities
- Inductional abilities
Tahsili – Standard Achievement Admission Test (SAAT)
The SAAT covers four basic areas: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. The test focuses on the material of the official 3-year (i.e., Grades 10, 11, and 12) Scientific Curriculum of Saudi High Schools.
The GAT and SAAT are tests that measure and evaluate students’ aptitude and academic achievements, playing a vital role in their higher education admissions. In line with our commitment to student success, we have enhanced our comprehensive preparation plan to ensure students are well-prepared for these tests. We are confident these updates will significantly contribute to their readiness and performance.
