Smartphone Ban

As per the Ministry of Education’s (MoE) instructions, students are not allowed to have smartphones (equipped with cameras) at school. Consequently, AIS urges you to advise and instruct your children not to bring smart phones to school premises. If a student brings a mobile, he/she will have to leave it with the security at the gates. However, regular cell phones are allowed (for phone call use only).

Please note that if a smartphone is found within school premises, AIS will apply the disciplinary measures approved by MoE. The concerned student will face penalty and the mobile will be confiscated.

تبعَا للتعليمات الصارمة الصادرة عن وزارة التربية والتعليم بعدم السماح للطلبة بدخول المدارس بالهواتف الذكية (الجوالات المزودة بكاميرا)؛ وعليه  فإن المدارس تود أن تلفت عنايتكم إلى توجيه أبناءكم  بعدم إحضار هذه الجوالات إلى المدارس حيث سيضطر الطالب إلى تسليمها في الأمانات على البوابات. ويُسمح للطالب بإحضار الهواتف البسيطة (غير الذكية) لإجراء المكالمات فقط.

كما نود أن نلفت عناينكم أنه إذا عثر على هاتف ذكي بحوزة أحد الطلاب داخل مبنى المدارس، فسوف يتعرض للعقوبة حسب اللوائح المدرسية المعتمدة من وزارة التربية والتعليم ويصادر الجوال.
