First Benchmark (screening) assessment for Grades (1-2) and ( 3, 5, 7, 8)

Dear Respected Parent/Guardian,
As part of our continuous improvement process, AIS Management has scheduled the first Benchmark (screening) assessment for Grades 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8.
We administer this assessment to determine your child’s instructional level and to measure academic growth throughout the school year, and from year to year in Math, Reading, and Language.
- Grades 1 & 2 have already completed the assessment in Week 11 & 12 (Second Semester)
- Grades 3, 5, 7, & 8 will start the English assessment in Week 1 (Third Semester)
- Grades 3, 5, 7, & 8 will start the Math assessment in Week 2 (Third Semester)
The data from these assessments will assist us in personalizing learning and improving school accountability.
Please note that these assessments are non-evaluative. We will use these results to improve our instructional strategies. More information should become available at the start of Semester 3.
We are excited as the assessment will allow our educators to focus on every child’s individual growth and achievement. Partnering to help all students learn, parents, and teachers can have a profound positive effect on the lives of our students.
