AIS Students Visit Al-Ahsa Governorate

In cooperation with the Saudi Commission for Tourism, AIS organized a free trip to Al-Ahsa Governorate. Accompanied by school teachers and local guides, 45 students of Grade 7 & 8 enjoyed a memorable time of discovery in this destination.

Over three days, the students checked into a luxurious four-star hotel. During the visit, students were introduced to the production of different local handicrafts. They made a guided tour around King Abdullah Environmental Park, King Faisal University, a charity and midtown attractions. Furthermore, they were welcomed by a number of high-profile and high rank officials. Meeting the elderly was a great chance to look back in history and find out about the rich regional heritage. Eventually, the rehearsed for the traditional dance and enjoyed delicious meals and treats.
