Active Learning – التعلم النشط

In our ongoing endeavours to introduce the best learning environment to school, AIS carried out a pilot project on active learning, an extracurricular approach to instruction in which students engage the material they study through reading, writing, teamwork, and reflecting while boasting a fun-to-learn atmosphere. Introduced by Mr. Ayman Qannas assisted by Mr. Islam, the project involved a fourth-grade classroom who worked on math questions while playing and doing sports activities. The classroom was grouped into teams competing to beat the clock and gain the highest score. Eventually, two teams tied for the first place and kicked penalty to decide the winner. All the students were happy to be part of this exciting environment and to sharpen then teamwork and mathematical skills. The session was attended by Mr. Faruq Al-Hara, General Deputy, and Mr. Ahmed Dabess, Lower Grades Deputy Principal.

حرصا على استمرار الرقي في العملية التعلمية وتطبيق أميز استراتيجيات التعليم فقد قام الاستاذ أيمن القناص بالتعاون مع الاستاذ اسلام بتنفيذ حصة تعلم نشط لاصفية بعنوان (أفكر – أشارك – ألعب)، حيث تم تنفيذها في الصالة الرياضية المغطاة على شكل مسابقة علمية ورياضية، شارك فيها مجموعة من طلاب الصف الرابع في حل تتمارين في مادة الرياضيات، وشكل الطلاب مجموعات اشتركت في حل ثماني أوراق عمل تشمل معظم المهارات التي تعلمها الطلاب في المادة، وفي النهاية نظمت ركلات ترجيحية بين المجموعتين المتعادلتين لتحديد المجموعة الفائزة. حضر هذه الحصة كلا من الأستاذ فاروق الحارة الوكيل العام والأستاذ أحمد دعبيس وكيل المرحلة الابتدائية.
